The Arabic Alphabet
Arabic is written with a version of Arabic alphabet (Arabic: الْأَبْجَدِيَّة الْعَرَبِيَّة), which is an abjad, or consonant-only script. The Arabic alphabet has 28 basic letters, plus modified letters that can be accessed by using inbuilt vowel marks and symbols (diacritics). The early history of alphabetic writing goes back to a Proto-Sinaitic script in Ancient Egypt. However, it was not until around 800 BCE that sounds began to be represented by signs for vowels as well as consonants. This created digraphic systems that could support languages other than just Ancient Egyptian.

Doing so will help your child connect what he or she is reading with how it sounds and will also enable them to improve their pronounciation and reading skills as they get older. Complete Memorization

Some of our most experienced teachers remember it took them many years to complete full memorization. But it’s one thing to memorize your first 10 or 15 ayahs, and another thing entirely to memorize a whole surah. With practice and patience, children should be able to memorize 1–2 surahs every year until they have learned all 114 chapters of The Quran.
